LaDawn,

Thanks for commenting. Saying that tea parties are sprouting up b/c of the color of the president's skin is an assumption that's in no way fair ("...if Obama was white their would be no problem but since is Black they have this movement going.."). I've seen plenty of anti-war protests during Bush and during Obama's presidency. Yet, the tea parties tend to revolve around economic issues.

I do agree that the country should try and unite over our shortcomings, but it's tough when there's such an ideological divide over what we think is best for our economy.

Thanks, and we hope to hear from you again soon,
Tim

I am confused about what you stand for, I thought The Tea Party Movement is about bring people no matter what Political party they belong to. Tea Party has no clear or concise statement on their agenda or have a clear direction at this time...What I have notice if Obama was white their would be no problem but since is Black they have this movement going..

When Bush was sending American people to war where was the Tea Party Movement then and when we the American People found out that we went war based on a lie where was TEA PARTY MOVEMENT OUTRAGE OVER THIS ISSUE? Bush and the Republican Pary put The American people in this position, not Obama. Instead hating this man for the colour of his skin give hime suggestion on how to improve economey because this moment Palin as no idea neither does the majority of the republican and democrate party.. Support you Presiden because this moment the Nation around us see us as a dysfuntical Country

I think it's so funny that there are these groups of people getting together for a "tea party", and yet the polls numbers that came out today have boosted President Obama's approval rating to 67%. Pretty powerful reaction, I'd say.
