Money-Saving Websites for Almost Everything

Years ago, before the Internet, consumers who wanted to clip coupons had to wait for the morning — printed! — paper. If you wanted to compare the price of competing products, you had to travel store to store. Today, websites do all of those things for you. However, there are so many that it may be hard to find the best ones.

Well, you’re in luck, because personal finance experts Ken and Daria Dolan have done the work for you. The “first family of finance” has found the best websites for cost comparisons, grocery coupons, free stuff, and more.

Here’s just a few of the websites that Ken and Daria deem to be “the top places to save big.”

PriceGrabber.com and Smarter.com will find you the best deal on any product you’re looking for:

To give you an example, we found one 52-inch high-definition plasma TV that was selling for $3,199 in some stores. When we plugged it into PriceGrabber’s lightning-fast search engine, it spit back 25 merchants — with prices starting from almost $2,000 LESS for the exact same model!

(In case you’re curious, the best deal we found was for $1,299 PLUS free shipping!)

If you don’t buy or subscribe to a local newspaper, you can still take advantage of grocery coupons. CoolSavings.com and Coupons.com are just two examples of websites designed to save to money on food and household items.

Websites like ValPak.com and MoneyMailer.com offer local coupons for just about anything. From restaurants and bars to local services like carpet cleaning, these sites require you to simply enter in your zip code, and the coupons appear almost instantly.

For more money-saving websites that offer free stuff, cash rebates, and more, be sure visit Dolans.com.

Tim, another site similar to Smarter.com is Onewayshopping.com. Both sites seem to have the lowest prices on electronics. Nice article.
