Some good news this holiday season
As we all know, 2010 has been a very trying and difficult year for many American homeowners. We especially feel for all those out there who have received or will be anticipating foreclosure notices.
As was the case last year, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac have decided to halt foreclosures until the Christmas and New Year’s holidays are over:
Mortgage giants Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac plan to halt foreclosure evictions during the Christmas and New Year’s holidays.
Bank of America also said it will pause its foreclosure sales and evictions from “late December through New Year’s Day,” on loans in its portfolio or held by investors who will allow such a moratorium.
