Happy New Year!
by Tim Manni
On behalf of everyone at HSH.com, I’d like to extend a Happy New Year wish to all of you.
2010 was a frustrating year for many homeowners across the country. Despite 2010 being a year of some of the lowest mortgage rates we’ve seen in over 50 years, those rock-bottom rates remained quite elusive to thousands of American homeowners.
Things looking better in 2011?
Unfortunately, Tuesday’s blog post didn’t paint the rosiest picture of home prices in the new year. There’s no doubt about it, 2011 won’t be “the year of the homebuyer,” but we are anticipating mortgage rates to remain quite favorable (historically speaking) and that lending standards will ease somewhat.
Let’s raise our glasses to a growing economy that improves our job and housing markets in 2011. Cheers!
